2 Saturdays: IMAGINARY BEINGS & THRONES!
Sat, Jan 25 & Feb 1 - (A 2-part session) 1-4 PM
Session 1, Jan 25: Use your imagination to draw, then create a being out of ‘model magic’ clay (that will be painted and embellished in session 2) that expresses all the attributes you would chose to have if you were a mythical being. Maybe you would want wings so you could explore distant lands on a whim, or a lions mane to inspire awe, or a mermaids tail to explore the depths…You might even have time to create a miniature “backdrop” of the environment your imaginary being resides in.
Session 2, Feb 1: We will paint our beings and use glue guns to attach feathers, sequence, bits of fabric or any found objects to finish your creation. Then we will shift our attention to compressed cardboard throne (bases) to paint or embellish however you wish.
(These 2 sessions are 2 held on consecutive Saturdays):
