One Sunday: Abstracting Nature Like O’Keeffe!

$35.00

Sun, Jan 12, 1-4 PM : Using charcoal pencils we closely observe organic objects and choose one area of focus- to bring the micro into macro as Georgia O’Keefe liked to do. In this way of working, flowers and other organic matter becomes abstracted. With these shapes drawn large we can then experiment with darks, lights and everything in between. Time permitting, we may choose to copy one of O’Keeffe’s works. By copying we can learn about the problem solving another artist worked through- a very valuable experience!
