One Sunday: VALUE: Black, White & Gray!

$35.00

Sun, Jan 19, 1-4PM - Black and White Portraits- (creating gray scales)!

We will begin by experimenting with various drawing pencils to expand your command of a range in grays.  The creation of gray scales, helps us to become conscious of value in drawing more effectively. Using a variety of grays will give your work a sense of depth, drama and interest. We will use black and white portrait photographs of Black women by Brian Lanker as our inspiration.  We will focus on seeing basic shapes, values and various line qualities to create our own visual responses to these photographs!
